Ideal Profile – Find Your Ideal Prospect

Ideal Profile allows users to choose the specific business signals (see associated write up) that describe the types of company’s they are most interested in discovering.  The score, on a scale of 0-100, is an indicator of how closely a company matches the characteristics of your ideal profile (e.g. ideal prospect).

Find the Ideal Profile configurator on any page at the top menu (found on every page)

 

Or by clicking into the Ideal Profile on any Company Profile Page

 

 

… and click on the icon to customize your business signals.

Configuring Ideal Profile

Choose distinct business signals important to YOUR business.  For example, a bank might be interested in finding companies with a high degree of activity in mergers and acquisitions.  A technology company might want to find companies active in adopting new technologies etc…

Once you select your business signals (3-5 recommended) weight the importance slide use sliders to weight the importance of each to one another.  Ex, if M&A activity is most important, slide the blue ball all the way to the right.

 

Using Ideal Profile  

Once configured, you will get an ideal profile score for all companies in Avention.  This allows you to quickly see how well a company aligns with what is important to you – and to prioritize your time on the ones most in line with your business objectives. 

 

Keep in mind, a company that may have a lower score today could have a higher score tomorrow, based on what you’ve configured, and vice versa.  You can also change your Ideal Profile configuration based on changing needs of your business, projects, initiatives etc…
